1.1. Asiri   spirit air

  • Minor, ethereal spirit entities, of air
  • Believed to exist everywhere in Harn, hiding in various objects
  • Diverse but minor powers
  • Mischievous or downright troublesome
  • Most can only be detected with psionic or magic powers
  • Similar to the Elmithri

1.2. Centaurin   creature rare shy

  • Very rare, many regard them as mythical
  • Use weapons like axe, spear, box, and sling with great proficiency
  • Lifespan of 400 years
  • Hardy, do not wear garments but carry belts, wear jewelry and packs
  • Omnivorous

1.3. Dragon   creature rare

  • Rare, believed to be myths
  • Remaining dragons live in isolated, mountainous areas
  • 40 feet in length or more
  • Intelligent, some breath fire and use magic
  • Dormant for long periods, sleeping in lairs

1.4. Dryad   creature nocturnal

  • Found in dryad groves at night
  • Enchant men, who may remain so for a year or a day
  • Harmless except for stealing men's time, unless rejected or offended

1.5. Elmithri   spirit water

  • Water sprites with powers of enchantment
  • Can be perceived only with psionics or magic
  • Usually harmless but can be mischievous or even dangerous
  • Similiar and related to the Asiri

1.6. Gulmorvrin   undead

  • Undead of demonic power, most feared of Morgath's undead
  • No will of their own, only exist to serve their masters
  • Exude a force called the Shadow of Bukrai, causes those fail to resist to become undead

1.7. Hirenu   creature rare solitary

  • Chimera with body and hindquarters of a horse, and the neck, head, and wings of eagle
  • Unintelligent
  • Solitary, lives in highland regions
  • Cannot fly but can glide
  • Omnivorous, likes to eat horse meat

1.8. Ilme   dragon

  • Intelligent "mere-dragons", sometimes confused for actual dragons
  • No wings, do not breath fire
  • 12 feet in height, weighing 2 tons
  • Males and females live separately except to mate
  • Males are cowardly, sometimes bullied by local Gargu-arak bands
  • Females are fierce and will protect young at any cost
  • Prefer to ambush hunt and eat carrion

1.9.1. Aklash   creature ivashu

  • 6-8' in height, 300-400lbs
  • Hulking, semi-intelligent, hairless, with foul breath
  • Breath weapon causes nausea
  • Huge fanged mouth and a voracious omnivorous appetite

1.9.2. Hru   creature ivashu sociable

  • Known as the Rock Giant, looks like a bloated dry Nolah
  • 15 feet and four tons in weight
  • Transformed by day into a boulder or pile of rocks, drawing sustenance from the earth
  • Shakes the earth at night
  • Lives in colonies of up to forty, across highland wastes
  • Sociable, sing at a low disturbing tone at night
  • Slow thinkers, some are quite wise
  • Concerned about preservation of their homes

1.9.3. Nolah   creature ivashu troll solitary

  • Harnic troll, sometimes called the Dank Stalker
  • Intelligence, human-sized, has magic charm abilities
  • Can contort their moist hairless bodies stones of a wall
  • Prefer living under bridges and other damp structures, in an enchanted bubble
  • Breath water, do not breathe at all when sleeping
  • Use captured weapons but don't wear armor or clothing
  • Can only be slain by enchanted weapons
  • Solitary

1.9.4. Umbathri   creature ivashu gargoyle insane interplanar

  • Harnic gargoyle, ugly, squat, humanoid
  • Only lives partly on the same plane as mortal creatures
  • Insane, cruel, but will rarely attack
  • Immune to normal weapons, sensitive to magic
  • Two feet in height, travels in packs of 4-24
  • Not known whether they eat or drink in any normal sense

1.9.5. Vlasta   creature ivashu small agile

  • 18 inches in height and twenty pounds
  • Big leapers, powerful tails and hind legs
  • Carnivores, mostly eat small rodents but may attack creatures as large as men
  • When attacking large creatures, the leap in their faces and eat their eyes
  • Fine, delicate hands
  • Very agile but not very robust
  • Encountered in caverns in groups of 2-12

  • A class of deities, demons, demigods, giants, ogres or other monsters who formerly ruled Ivinia
  • Fled after the god Sarajin established dominion in Ivinia
  • Noron, the Riddle-master of Anrist Point, and Uvien of Barsothe Falls are pradeyalkri

1.11. Yelgri   creature harpie rare hostile

  • Harnic harpie, rare
  • Semi-intelligent, quasi-reptilian, humanoid
  • Shorten than humans and light, can fly with their leathery wings with a span of 30 feet
  • Predatory carnivores
  • Taloned feet, also hunt with spears and clubs
  • Encounter in flocks of 2-12 or more
